Help end healthcare discrimination
The recently passed $1.3 trillion spending bill failed our working seniors, families with high deductible medical plans, and individuals needing preventive care. But you can still make a difference.
Discrimination like this cannot be ignored. We need one million signatures to force Congress to pay attention.
OUR PETITION STATES:
I am a registered voter and a constituent. Please end HSA discrimination to include these three bipartisan improvements:
1. Cover prescription drugs for chronic conditions below the deductible.
2. Increase HSA contributions to the Out of Pocket Maximum (OOP).
3. Allow working seniors on Medicare to keep their HSA.
Hear how this is impacting real people, right now.
No HSAs for Working Seniors is a slap in the face
Just as Medicare and every other health care plan coordinate, Congress must stop discriminating against Seniors by preventing them from contributing to an HSA.
Increase Contributions to the HSAs
Congress must increase allowable contributions equal to the out-of-pocket maximum of the Health Savings Account qualified health plan. This will protect individuals and families with high out-of-pocket maximums, including new mothers.
Allow Working Seniors to contribute to their HSAs
Congress must allow HSA plans to coordinate with Medicare such that working seniors would remain eligible to contribute to their HSA, just like every other health plan coordinates with Medicare already.
